Thanks! I just realized he doesn’t have a name yet. We should give him a cute name. ๐

Another blogger mentioned Pepito. Maybe he could use a last name. Pepito Bonito? I’m just being silly now.

I actually like that, has a lovely spanish twang to it, maybe he is a spanish chicken? ๐

Lol. I guess with those names he would be! Hmm… maybe there’s a story in there.

Love your stories, I’m telling you you really should write books for children too. Use your designs for the illustrations and I am sure it would be a great hit!

Thank you so much, Pam! That means a lot to me. I would absolutely love to write a children’s book featuring Hodge and Podge. Since readers brought it up last week, I’ve been mulling over some ideas and hope to start working on a story concept next month. I’ll be sure to keep you posted. Wouldn’t that be something to see Hodge and Podge in their own book! Thanks for the vote of confidence. You rock!

Aww! the chick is even cuter than it’s mother! Can’t wait for the pattern!

I’m so glad you like the lil’ guy. I have him sitting on my desk today and he makes me smile every time I see him.

The only thing cuter than this comic is the characters involved in it! The chick falling on its head had me rolling! Love it!!!
April 17, 2014 at 2:40 pm
I’m so glad you like the chick rolling off the table. I was afraid it might look like Hodge was being a negligent papa (someone call child/chick services!). But baby chick seems to be having a fun time, so no harm was done. ๐

Getting dropped on my head was the best thing that ever happened to me! ๐
