  1. That is an excellent reason and I will follow your advice! I am making a replica of my grandson’s dog for his birthday! If it turns out with much likeness, THAT would make me ridiculously happy. Have a happy spring!

    • Happy spring to you Beate! I wish you the best of luck on your replica dog. But you don’t really need luck. You always do such amazing work!

      • You are a sweetheart! I finished him, but I need to brush him out more. i have time until Sunday morning. My husband says to take him to the groomers.hahaha

        • Hehe! Brushing (or grooming as your husband says :)) amigurumi is one of my favorite things to do. The transformation is always so interesting!

          • Today is his birthday and he loved it!!! Pictures are on my Facebook right now. Have a great Sunday!

            • Just saw the pictures on Facebook and he is adorable. You should be very proud. That was a lot of fur to brush out. I’ve only made a few brushed amis but I remember how time consuming it can be. He looks fantastic!

              • hahaha, you are right about the brushing. I could have crochet a whole new one in the same time.
Thank you for your compliment. I admire your work very much also.
