Previous Episode: The Mystery of the Rainbow Chicken
A very sweet skunk named Beatrix came all the way from Florida to visit Squirrel Picnic.
Naturally, we threw her a welcome party.
A special thanks to Grace for crocheting Beatrix, telling me her story, and sending her to visit Squirrel Picnic. We all had a wonderful time together, and she’s welcome to come back anytime!

Beatrix is so cute!!! Like Hodge, I am a squirrel who is absolutely smitten by skunkettes! My compliments to Grace on such a wonderful creation!

You have some amazing skunkettes over at the nest. They are quite the characters! Were you a Pepe le Pew fan? I always had a soft spot for him. He tried so hard. 😀

I have always admired Mr. le Pew’s bold romantic efforts in the face of adversity, rejection, and obvious blindness!

I love this! So many cute details…where did you find the picnic table and food? I know my sister is going to be so inspired by your comic. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Hi Patricia! I’m so glad you enjoyed my comic. 🙂 Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I finally remembered where I got the picnic table. I’ve been collecting the food from all over. There’s a miniature store I love in Georgetown, Colorado — up in the mountains. I always find amazing stuff there. I also go to a bead show in Denver every year and that’s where I found the glasswork hamburgers and donuts. Aren’t they darling?!
