    1. ops…..sorry….it’s “each of your post”…at least,I think so….it’s time to brush up on English grammar….

      1. No worries. I understood just fine. What’s your native language?

By Squirrel Picnic on October 30, 2013 at 2:33 pm

        1. I’m bilingual,an Italian and Croatian speaker (born in Croatia from Croatian mum and Italian dad) and I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and French languages and their literatures.I’m blessed with a nice knowledge that allows me to communicate widely and learn from so many talented and creative people as YOU ARE.I’m not a believer but i thank god for that great luck every day.

          1. Wow, Tajana! I’m so impressed! I know Americans are always saying this, but it’s true — In our country, most of us don’t get much opportunity to use the languages we learn in school. Although that is changing, as our demographic shifts. I started out learning French in school, and even after 8 years of study, I still can’t speak it. Maybe I can learn from you. πŸ™‚ Your story is very inspirational, and I’m so thankful that I’ve met you. Hugs to you too!

            1. You are too kind! But don’t be impressed, it is just a matter of circumstances and practice.Besides meeting nice and great people all around the world, the main reason I write my blog in English is to keep my knowledge alive.French language is difficult to me,too.I started to study it quite late, when I was in high school, and I have to think a lot before speaking.I try to practice it by reading books in original language…George Simenon is quite easy …on the other hand, internet offers a lot of pages and sites with easy exercices…But,don’t worry, usually, when you need something, you learn it quickly.

              1. Sounds like there’s hope for me and French yet! Thanks, Tajana!

  5. How sweet! I now see that the adorable creativity runs in the family! Deca Podge is a wonderful addition to the cast, though I worry she may hover a bit too much over her daughter… πŸ˜‰

    1. haha! I’ll have to work that in. In real life, my mom is shorter than me and she doesn’t like to “hōver over” as she says it. πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks, Sharon! I’m really glad I was able to work her into this comic — having just come from visiting my own mother, it was quite appropriate. πŸ™‚

  8. They are awesome, love the costumes. I want a hodge batman. Did you make MEAP’s jacket? oh and welcome Deca Podge.

By foolishlife on October 31, 2013 at 7:56 pm

    1. Thanks! I wish I could say that I made MEAP’s jacket, but it came on a teddy bear my dad gave me. As for the Hodge Batman, I’m thinking of doing a series of crochet costume patterns to fit the squirrels! I’ll keep you posted.:)

By Squirrel Picnic on November 1, 2013 at 12:05 pm

      1. That would be awesome to have costume patterns they should dress up as superheros more often they look great. MEAP rocks that jacket!

By foolishlife on November 1, 2013 at 6:45 pm

        1. YES!! I can just see Podge as Wonder Woman!! πŸ˜€

By Grace on June 13, 2014 at 3:09 pm

          1. That’s a fantastic idea! Since last year, I have been planning on dressing them up again for Halloween and sharing patterns for their crochet costumes. I do believe Podge will be Wonder Woman this year. Great idea, Grace!
